Project Description
Want to help fight hunger in Broome County? Join us in our efforts to combat food insecurity and make an impact in our community!

The Council's community agencies are seeking volunteers to assist at local food pantries and meal sites. As a volunteer, you'll have the opportunity to help distribute food items to individuals and families in need, assist in organizing and stocking shelves, support with meal preparation and service, as well as engage with community members and provide a welcoming environment.

There are dozens of local food assistance sites across Broome County, and The Council can match you with one based on your availability and interests. If interested, feel free to contact us for more information!
